Earthquake of 4.5 magnitude shakes Jammu and Kashmir

The quake occurred at a depth of 10kms from the surface.

According to the National Centre for Seismology (NCS), an earthquake of magnitude 4.5 jolted in (75 km North) Gulmarg, Jammu and Kashmir at 12:02 pm today. The quake occurred at a depth of 10kms from the surface.

Earthquakes are being frequent, on Monday, the Union Territory witnessed a 3.6 magnitude earthquake whose tremors were felt in the epicentre, Srinagar. Then, on Thursday, an earthquake measuring 3.7 occurred and the tremors were felt 281 km North of Gulmarg.
