Bappi Da’s last rites to be performed in Vile Parle Mumbai; check updates

Music composer-singer Bappi Lahiri mortal remains have reached the Pawan Hans crematorium in Mumbai. The family looks devastated.

Music composer-singer Bappi Lahiri, known as the disco king of Bollywood, died at a Mumbai hospital on Tuesday night, February 15, after suffering from a sleep-related breathing disorder. He was 69. The singer was admitted to Juhu’s Criticare Hospital, where he breathed his last at 11:45 pm.

Bappi Lahiri introduced disco songs in this industry. The singer was referred to as ‘Disco King’.

Various celebrities from music fraternity and the industry visited Bappi Da’s home to pay their homage like Kajol, mother Tanuja, Abhijeet Bhattacharya, Shaam, Rakesh Roshan, Alka Yagnik and many more.

The last rites of Bappi Da will be performed at Pawan Hans crematorium in Vile Parle, Mumbai. The mortal remains of Bappi Lahiri have already reached at Pawan Hand crematorium. His son, Bappa Lahiri, flew down from the USA to attend his father’s final rites.

Singers Alka Yagnik and Ila Arun are present at the crematorium.
