Pakistani captain Babar Azam has been praised by the cricketing fraternity for his excellent batting performance. As the cricket legends are optimistic about Azam becoming the next Pakistani batting legend.
After some scintillating performances, Azam, 26, has made himself a rock wall in their batting line-up.
As the former captain Shoaib Malik turned 40, Azam recalled how Malik stood by him when he was struggling to make his name back in 2012.
Wishing the ace cricket on his birthday, Azam tweeted, “It was Dec 2012. Pakistan team was about to tour India. I was called in for a side practice match. When it was my turn to bat I was nervous. He walked to me, calmed me down and told everyone around:
“Let the kid play!”
