In addition to motor upgrades, the Vanguard 1P system features design changes that improve installation efficiency. For example, the integration of shrink tube technology has significantly reduced the time required for tube connections, streamlining the installation process.

Furthermore, the Vanguard 1P now includes a patented spherical bearing, which enhances terrain adaptability. This feature makes assembly easier on undulating terrain, where misalignment can be a concern due to extra forces.

The updates also include enhancements to the Smart Control System, which comprises the Smart Controller, Trina Smart Cloud, and SuperTrack algorithm. These enhancements improve operations and maintenance efficiency, as well as system security. The Trina Smart Cloud now includes a multi-role permission management feature for enhanced security and integrates a 3D digital map for easy identification of alerts and faults.

The SuperTrack algorithm has also been significantly improved, expanding its range of application settings and autonomously identifying, training, and optimizing itself. These advancements have resulted in a notable increase in energy production of up to 8%, according to TrinaTracker.

Juan Manuel Gomez Garcia, head of the TrinaTracker Competence Center in Spain, expressed the company’s commitment to improving both the physical aspects and the digital integration of their solar tracking solutions. These upgrades aim to provide users with a complete and efficient experience, reflecting TrinaTracker’s dedication to innovation and excellence in the solar tracking industry.
