Ranveer Allahbadia and Ashish Chanchlani along with Apoorva Mukhija and Samay Raina landed in trouble after the former three social media influencers appeared as guests on latter’s show, India’s Got Latent. Multiple FIRs were filed against the YouTubers for their indecent remarks, with Ranveer being the main accused in the case, with his parents and sex comment.
The influencers were summoned by the police and on Monday, Ranveer and Ashish were snapped at the Maharashtra Cyber Call to record their statements.
A video was shared by ANI, which said, “Maharashtra: YouTubers Ashish Chanchlani and Ranveer Allahbadia leave from the Maharashtra Cyber Cell Headquarters in Navi Mumbai after recording their statements in connection with India’s Got Latent case.”
Earlier, Ashish has approached the Supreme Court, seeking either the transfer of his FIR to Mumbai from Assam or getting it cancelled. On Friday, the apex court clubbed Ashish’s plea with Ranveer and issued notice to both Maharashtra and Assam.
Before that, Ranveer had approached Supreme Court with plea seeking to club all the FIRs against him.
Last week, Ranveer’s lawyer had informed Maharashtra Cyber Police that his client was unable to appear to record his statements as he was receiving death threats. He has earlier skipped two summonses issued by the Maharashtra Cyber Cell so far.
