
The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has once again captured the attention of the nation as it embarks on a new space mission, the Chandrayaan-3..ISRO’s upcoming Chandrayaan-3 mission is set to launch from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota, Andhra Pradesh, at 2.35 PM IST on Friday, July 14. This mission aims to showcase various capabilities, including reaching the moon’s orbit, executing a soft landing on the lunar surface using a lander and deploying a rover for surface exploration.

Following the lift-off at 2.35 PM, approximately 16 minutes into the mission, the propulsion module will separate from the rocket. The module will then enter an elliptical orbit around the Earth, completing around 5-6 orbits with the closest point to Earth at 170 km and the farthest point at 36,500 km. From there, the spacecraft will proceed toward the lunar orbit, continuing its journey of exploration and discovery.Chandrayaan-3, the third installment of India’s lunar mission series, aims to build upon the achievements of its predecessors and take India’s space exploration to even greater heights.
