This substantial price cut is designed to help developers more easily and cost-effectively integrate Google Maps into their applications. This initiative is also a response to the growing competition from Ola, which has been promoting its own Ola Maps with tailored features and localized solutions at a lower price.
In a bid to support innovation in India’s digital commerce sector, Google is offering up to 90% off select Google Maps Platform APIs for developers working on the Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC). This special pricing aims to provide developers with advanced tools at a much lower cost.

New Google Wallet APIs
Google is also enhancing its offerings by launching new Google Wallet APIs. These APIs simplify the integration of loyalty programs, tickets, and gift cards, enabling businesses to offer more seamless and integrated digital wallet experiences.

Google is also launching several AI innovation programs, such as the nationwide Gen AI Hackathon and the Solve for India Startup Bootcamp | AI Edition.
