In Strands, your task is to find the “theme words” hidden in a grid of letters. To solve it:

  1. Find Words: Drag or tap through the letters to form words. Double-tap the final letter to confirm your word. Correct theme words will be highlighted in blue and removed from selection.
  2. Non-Theme Words: If you find words that aren’t part of the theme, they still help! For every three non-theme words you find that are at least four letters long, you’ll get a hint — a scrambled version of one of the theme words will be revealed.
  3. Spangram: Each puzzle includes a special theme word or words that stretch from one side of the grid to the opposite. This “spangram” will be highlighted in yellow when you find it.
  4. Goal: Complete the puzzle as quickly as possible while using as few hints as you can.
