Like Wordle, Connections, and the Mini Crossword, Strands can be a real head-scratcher some days. Don’t worry if you need a little nudge. If you’re stuck on today’s Strands puzzle, we’ve got the answers ready for you.
How to play Strands
The goal of each Strands puzzle is to find the “theme words” hidden within a grid of letters. You can manipulate the letters by dragging or tapping to form words; double-tap the final letter to confirm your selection. When you correctly identify a theme word, the letters will be highlighted in blue and will become unselectable.
If you stumble upon a word that isn’t a theme word, it still counts! For every three non-theme words you find that are at least four letters long, you’ll receive a hint: the letters of one of the theme words will be revealed, and you’ll just need to unscramble them.
Every single letter in the grid is part of a theme word, with no overlaps. Each letter is used only once.
Each puzzle includes one “spangram,” a special theme word (or words) that relates to the puzzle’s theme and touches two opposite sides of the board. When you identify the spangram, it will be highlighted in yellow.
Your aim is to complete the puzzle swiftly without relying on too many hints.
