NYT Connections: hints and answers for Thursday, June 13

Connections is the newest brain-teaser from the New York Times, challenging players to sort a pool of 16 words into four secret categories. Each day brings a fresh puzzle, resetting at midnight, with difficulty levels that keep you on your toes. Like Wordle, Connections lets you track your streaks and compare scores with friends. Ready to master today’s puzzle? Let’s go!

How to Play NYT Connections

In Connections, you start with a grid of 16 words. Your goal? Sort them into four groups of four based on hidden connections. These groups can be anything from video game franchises to book sequels, shades of red, or chain restaurant names.

You can shuffle and rearrange the words to spot patterns. Each group is color-coded by difficulty: yellow (easiest), green, blue, and purple (hardest).

To guess, select four words and hit Submit. A correct guess removes those words and reveals their connection. Be careful, though — you only get four mistakes before the game ends.
