Vivo Y27 5G design, colour variants and specifications surface online; Launch expected soon

The 4G, as well as 5G variants of the phone, was spotted on various certification sites which suggests that the launch is much near than expected. 

The Vivo Y27 4G is expected to enter the Indian markets soon. Vivo has said that there will also be a 5G variant of the phone available. While there has been no official information on the release of the 5G variant in the country, it is expected that the handset will launch in the global markets soon this month.

A recent leak that surface suggests the design render, colourways and some of the specifications that the upcoming smartphone will offer. The 4G, as well as 5G variants of the phone, was spotted on various certification sites which suggests that the launch is much near than expected.

Paras Guglani who goes by the name passionate geekz has shared potential renders of the upcoming Vivo Y27 5G smartphone. The phone might be available in black and purple colour, with marketing titles Obsidian black and star purple respectively. The leaked images suggests that Vivo branding at the bottom left on the rear panel and a dual camera unit, placed in a rectangular box on the top left corner, with a LED flash supporting the camera unit. The front of the phone comes in a water-drop notch at the top Centre of the display.

The smartphone could get a 6.64-inch IPS LCD full-HD+ display, with a maximum brightness of 600 nits. MediaTek 6020 5G SoC is set to power the smartphone coupled with 6GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage and 6GB expandable RAM.

The Vivo Y23 5G is said to run on Android-13 based Funtouch OS 13. There will be a 50-megapixal primary and a 2-megapixal secondary camera. The front camera is expected to be of 8-megapixal.

The smartphone is said to be 164×76.2x8mm in size and weigh 190 grams. Vivo Y23 is said to be IP54 rated and support 44W fast charging.

As per the report by GSMArena, Vivo Y27 4G with model number V2249 and Vivo Y27 5G with model number V2302 were spotted on NBTC certification site, however Vivo is yet to give an official confirmation on the launch of the smartphone.
