Xiaomi’s Redmi recently launched their latest smartphone under the Note series, Redmi Note 12 Pro. Ever since its launch, the phone has been the talk of the town. With gap of just a few weeks, Realme launched Realme 10. Both the China based brands have been in serious competition with one another.
In order to learn more their features and differences, we analyzed both the smartphones on various grounds.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro has dimensions of 163 x 76 x 8 mm with weight of 187 grams. The phone supports dual SIM (Nano-SIM) and is IP53 dust and splash resistant.
Realme 10 has dimensions of 159.9 x 73.3 x 8 mm, that weighs 178 grams. The phone is built with frame and back of plastic with gorilla glass 5 in the front. It supports dual Nano-SIM.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro employs OLED technology for display with refreshing speed of 120 Hz and brightness ranging from 500 nits to 900 nits. The size is 6.67 inches with screen-to-body ratio of 86.7%. The resolution is 1080 x 2400 pixels and protection of corning gorilla glass 5.
Realme 10 uses Super AMOLED technology for its display with refreshing speed of 90 Hz and brightness of 1000 nits. The size of display is 6.4 inches with 84.4% screen-to-body ratio. The resolution is 1080 x 2400 pixels and is protected by corning gorilla glass 5.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro has operating system of Android 12. The chipset is Mediatek MT 6877V and CPU of octa-core (2×2.6 GHz).
Realme 10 supports Android 12 operating system. The chipset is Mediatek MT6877V Dimensity 1080. The CPU is octa-core (2×2.6 GHz).
Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro has internal storage of 128 GB for 6 GB and 8 GB RAM, 256 GB for 8 GB and 12 GB RAM. The phone does not support increasing the storage space.
Realme 10 comes with internal storage of 64 GB and 256 GB with RAM of 4 GB and 8 GB respectively. Also available is 128 GB with RAM of 4 GB, 6 GB, 8 GB. The phone allows increasing the storage space as it provides dedicated slot of micro SDXC chip.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro has three main cameras which are 50 MP f/1.9 (wide), 8 MP f/2.2 (ultrawide), 2 MP f/2.4 (macro) with features such as dual-LED dual-tone flash, HDR and panorama. The video quality is 4K @ 30 frames per second (fps), 1080p @ 30/60/120 fps, 720p @ 960 fps. The front camera is 16 MP f/2.5 (wide) with HDR feature and video quality of 1080p @ 30/60 fps.
Realme 10 has two main cameras – 50 MP f/1.8 (wide) and 2 MP f/2.4 (depth) – with LED flash, HDR, and panorama feature. The front camera is 16 MP f/2.5 (wide) with HDR and panorama feature. The video quality for both camera is 1080p @ 30 fps.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro has powerful lithium polymer battery of 5000 mAh. It is expected to be 50% charged in 15 minutes and fully charged in 46 minutes with 67W wired charging.
Realme 10 has lithium polymer battery of 5000 mAh. The non-removable battery is expected to be 50% charged in 28 minutes with 33W wired charging.
