Post-Bitcoin era welcomes PLC Ultima Blockchain with Mining on Mobile Phones

Can a cryptocurrency mining farm fit in a pocket? The team behind a new blockchain-based ecosystem called PLC Ultima replies to this question ‘yes’, as they developed special mobile apps that allow users to create new coins on their smartphones.

Mining usually requires powerful computing machines. Smartphones and other mobile gadgets cannot physically offer a large amount of computing power. But as it turned out, this problem can be solved at the code level using special algorithms.

Say ‘no’ to energy-consuming mining

The dev team of the PLC Ultima ecosystem, based on the stable, fast, and cyberattack-resistant Litecoin blockchain and strengthened by the CryptoNight hashing algorithm used by Bitcoin and Monero, developed an auxiliary smartphone converter called Middleware. It grants users with a lightweight wallet for mobile devices that is able to download core data from the blockchain and convert it into lightweight data on smartphones. Furthermore, this cutting-edge technology paved the way to the creation of a lightweight minting mobile app. Minting is a more energy-efficient version of the proof-of-work consensus mechanism of creating new coins that does not require special computing equipment.

Unlike Bitcoin miners who need to buy expensive equipment, minters in the PLC Ultima ecosystem just need to register new accounts, download special apps (Ultima Farm and Ultima Wallet) on their smartphones, and freeze a certain number of native coins of the ecosystem. After that, they choose what digital certificate, i.e. some kind of a subscription plan, fits their goals, buy it and receive access to the minting technology for approximately one year. The higher the level of digital certificate, the higher the number of coins they can freeze in their wallets and the more coins can be received as a reward. PLC Ultima operates two native coins, PLCU and PLCUX. Both of them are being minted, but currently only PLCUX remains available for minting for new users.

Every month users receive rewards for their contribution to the ecosystem. Rewards are distributed via a special smart contract and correspond to the number of frozen coins in the wallet.

Welcome to the world of decentralized fintech

All minted and stored coins can be spent inside the PLC Ultima ecosystem, as it is a home for a dozen of high performing e-commerce and crowdfunding services. In 2021, about 700,000 people from more than 120 countries around the world have already registered as members of the PLC Ultima ecosystem. By September 2022, the number of active users exceeded 1.5 million.

The meteoric rise of traffic is due to the unparalleled services that can be found in the PLC Ultima ecosystem. The blockchain-empowered crowdfunding platform called Platin Hero and global e-commerce marketplace entitled PlatinDeal are the main magnets for users.

Platin Hero with its blockchain-based process of raising funds ensures maximum transparency and contributes to maintaining trust between the donor and the project. Unlike other crowdfunding platforms, whose users often found themselves cheated, Platin Hero makes a crowdfunding process beneficial to all parties. Projects get access to a multi-thousand audience of the PLC Ultima ecosystem, receive free promotion and funding of their ideas, while donors receive rewards from projects and a 10% bonus of the amount they contributed. On its end, PlatinDeal grants users with a handy classified platform with a friendly customer interface. Users can launch their own digital stores in a few clicks, sell goods or services, or go shopping paying for their carts with cryptocurrencies.

Defining its mission as the improvement of the quality of life, PLC Ultima is first of all an accessible, user-friendly ecosystem with a plenty of services essential in everyday life. The project was run by Alex Reinhardt, a venture investor, economist, entrepreneur who launched dozens of startups and fintech platforms.
