
The Android users have always been confused between OnePlus and Samsung as to which brand’s smartphone to buy. Both Chinese and South Korean companies offer not only user-friendly but also highly advance and efficient operating system. The two companies have been in a race to dominate the market and frankly both are giving one another tough competition.
Two smartphones which were launched just 6 months away from each other – OnePlus 11 5G and Samsung Galaxy F13 – are being compared based on the features offered.
Body
OnePlus 11 5G is 163.1 x 74.1 x 8.5 mm and weighs 205 grams. It is build with Gorilla glass on both sides and aluminum frame. The phone supports single Nano-SIM or dual-SIM (Nano-SIM x2 or eSIM).
Samsung Galaxy F13 is slightly bigger in size as its dimensions are 165.4 x 76.9 x 9.3 mm that weighs 207 grams. The phone is covered with glass in the front, plastic at the back, and surrounded by plastic frame. It supports dual-SIM (Nano-SIM).
Display
OnePlus 11 has employed LTPO3 fluid AMOLED display with refreshing rate of 120 Hz and brightness ranging from 800 nits and 1300 nits. It is 6.7 inches in size with 89.7% screen-to-body ratio. The resolution is 1440 x 3216 pixels and protected by corning gorilla glass victus. The display is much advance and is clearly built to rule the market.
Samsung Galaxy F13 comes with 6.6 inches display of PLS LCD with screen-to-body ratio of 82.5%. It has resolution of 1080 x 2408 pixels and is protected by corning gorilla glass.
Platform
OnePlus 11 has Android 13 operating system and chipset of Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. It has octa-core (1×3.2 GHz) CPU.
Samsung Galaxy F13 supports Android 12, which can be upgradable to Android 13. The phone comes with Exynos 850 chipset and octa-core (4×2.0 GHz) CPU.
Camera
OnePlus 11 has three main camera modules – 50 MP f/1.8 (wide), 32 MP f/2.0 (telephoto), 48 MP f/2.2 (ultrawide) – which allows pictures from different angles with Hasselblad color calibration, dual-LED flash, HDR, and panorama as additional features. It gives video quality of 8K @ 24 frames per second (fps), 4K @ 30/60 fps, 1080p @ 30/60/240 fps with auto-HDR feature. The front camera is 16 MP f/2.5 (wide) with auto-HDR and panorama feature and video quality of 1080p @ 30 fps.
Samsung Galaxy F13 has three main cameras – 50 MP f/1.8 (wide), 5 MP f/2.2 (ultrawide), 2 MP f/2.4 (depth) – with LED flash, panorama, and HDR features. The selfie camera is 8 MP f/2.2 (wide) with HDR feature. The video quality is 1080p @ 30 fps for both front and back camera.
Memory
OnePlus 11 comes with internal storage of 128 GB, 256 GB, and 512 GB. It promises speed at its RAM sits at 8 GB, 12 GB, and 16 GB. It does not allow expanding the storage.
Samsung Galaxy F13 has internal storage of 64 GB and 128 GB with 4 GB RAM. The storage can be increased as the phone has a dedicated slot for micro SDXC.
Battery
OnePlus 11 has lithium polymer battery of 5000 mAh which can be fully charged in 25 minutes and 50% charged in 10 minutes. It can be charged with a 100W wired charger.
Samsung Galaxy F13 has rather powerful battery of 6000 mAh. The non-removable battery can be charged with 15W wired.
