Nothing Phone 2 design revealed finally ahead of July 11 launch; Check it out

Nothing Phone 2 is expected to go on sale on July 11 across the world, including in India.

As a follow-up to Nothing Phone 1, which was released in 2016, Nothing Phone 2 is scheduled to debut on July 11. The Carl Pei-led UK company has presented the flagship handset’s first official look in anticipation of its impending release. The official rendering for the Nothing Phone 2 with a redesigned Glyph Interface proposes white and grey colour options. The general appearance seems to be influenced by the Nothing Phone 1. It has been revealed that the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC would power the Nothing Phone 2, which will be sold on Flipkart in India.

The impending Nothing Phone 2’s official design was presented on Tuesday through Twitter. As already established, the phone has curved edges, a transparent rear casing, and the colours white and dark grey. The brand’s image reveals a design resemblance to the Nothing Phone 1 that was introduced in July of last year. With somewhat altered LED lighting, the Glyph Interface appears to have received some significant changes.

On the Nothing Phone 2, a ring-shaped camera module housing two back cameras is positioned in the upper left corner. Additionally, the smartphone’s right spine has the volume rockers, while its left spine houses the power button.

It is reported that the future Nothing Phone 2 will have 33 LED lighting zones; this is a major improvement over the Nothing Phone 1’s 12 separate LEDs. Through the phone’s software, they can be programmed. The device will reportedly have a 4,700mAh battery and run on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC.

On July 11, the Nothing Phone 2 will be released in markets around the world, including India. The company’s website and official YouTube channel will also stream live video of the virtual launch event, which will start at 8:30 IST. The forthcoming device will be sold on Flipkart in India. It is confirmed that the new phone would be released in the US, unlike the Phone 1.
