Up to 16GB of RAM is included in the majority of the top-tier smartphones now on the market. This may soon change, since there are claims spreading over the Internet that forthcoming smartphones may provide up to 24GB of RAM. The 24GB RAM smartphone appears to be getting ready for release from Chinese companies OnePlus, Oppo, and Realme, all owned by BBK Electronics. Without ever having to worry about app reloading time, the enhanced onboard memory would aid with gaming and multitasking and might surpass the memory capacity of the typical laptop.
Smartphones with up to 24GB of LPDDR5X RAM are in the development, according to well-known Weibo tipper Digital Chat Station. He claims that smartphones with enormous onboard capacity have begun to become more and more popular thanks to the “Oga group,” which might be an acronym for Oppo, OnePlus, and Realme.
According to reports, BBK electronics-owned companies’ new flagship phones would have at least 16GB of RAM and as much as 24GB of RAM in the top model. The 24GB of RAM is said to improve ColorOS retention rates as well. But neither Realme, OnePlus, nor Oppo have made any public announcements about their intentions to introduce new phones with up to 24GB of RAM. Therefore, it is advised to take this information with a grain of salt.
The first smartphone with 24GB of RAM may be the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro, which is expected to launch either in July or August. Similar display characteristics to those of the Oppo Reno 10 Pro+ are expected for the rumoured smartphone. A 6.74-inch display with a 1440Hz Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) frequency is anticipated for the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro. The 1,240 x 2,772 pixel resolution of the BOE’s 1.5K OLED panel is possible. To accommodate the selfie sensor, the display may have curved borders and a hole-punch cutout that is positioned in the centre.
A Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 2 octa-core SoC that has not yet been revealed is anticipated to power it. With a 64-megapixel OmniVision OV64M main sensor, an 8-megapixel Sony IMX355 sensor, and a 2-megapixel GalaxyCore GC02M sensor, the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro is claimed to have a triple rear camera configuration. A 5,000mAh battery with 100W rapid charging capabilities may power the smartphone.
