The Google Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro are anticipated to go on sale soon. Although there have been no confirmed facts about the phone, it lately appears in a promotional graphic on Google’s page for Google Subscriptions & Services. It seems to have been dropped before we could view it, though. The phone is rumoured to include a triple back camera configuration and be Porcelain White in hue. At first impression, it resembles the Pixel 7 Pro, its predecessor. It is also rumoured to receive further years of OS updates.
Android Setting (@android_setting) of X (previously Twitter) and Android guru Mishaal were the first to notice a picture of the Google Pixel 8 Pro on the Google Store website. The smartphone is depicted on the page in the Porcelain White colour scheme. It initially has a similar appearance to the Pixel 7 Pro from a year ago. Contrary to the Pixel 7 Pro, which debuted alongside the standard Pixel 7 in 2022, all three cameras appear to be contained in a single pill-shaped camera island.
The image also suggests that there might be a second sensor right close to the LED flash. However, because the image is low-resolution, it is challenging to tell what it is. A telephoto camera lens with optical zoom and Google’s Super Res Zoom function, which employs both hardware and software for the best image quality, were also featured in the triple rear camera system of the Pixel 7 Pro when it was first introduced last year.
The number of OS updates for Google’s future Tensor-powered smartphones may rise, according to a 9to5Google report. According to the article, the Google Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro would likely receive five years’ worth of OS updates.
