Google announced its Pixel brand which manufactures smartphones. The American company has indeed locked their horns with Samsung as they have entered into direct competition with one another. With gap of just a few months, both the brands launched their new models – Google Pixel 7 Pro and Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra. Both the phones have been supporting 5G network and promises high tech specifications.

Physical Appearance

Google Pixel 7 Pro has an overall dimensions of 162.9 x 76.6 x 8.9 mm. The phone is covered with Gorilla glass victus on both front and back side with aluminum side. It weighs 212 grams which is around 7.48 pounds. It supports Nano SIM and e-SIM and is water resistant up to 1.5 meter for 30 mins.

Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra is 163.4 x 78.1 x 8.9 mm with weight of 234 grams. It is built with glass on the front and back with frame of aluminum. The phone supports Nano-SIM and eSIM or dual SIM (2 Nano SIMs). The aluminum frame is expected to protect the phone from drop and is scratch resistance. It is also dust and water resistant up to 1.5 meters for 30 minutes.

Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra has internal storage of 256 GB with 8 GB and 12 GB RAM, 512 GB with 12 GB RAM, and 1 TB with 12 GB RAM. This model does not allow expanding storage space.

Battery

Google Pixel 7 Pro comes with a powerful non-removable battery of lithium-ion 5000 mAh. One of its USP for battery is that it can be fully charged in about 30 minutes. Charging is 23W wireless and reverse wireless.

Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra also has lithium ion battery of 5000 mAh. The non-removable battery supports wired, 15W wireless and 4.5W reverse wireless charging. It is expected to be 65% charged in 30 minutes with wired 45W charging.

Camera

Google Pixel 7 Pro offers three main cameras – 50 MP with frame of 25mm wide, 48 MP with frame of 120mm telephoto and 12 MP for ultrawide angle. The camera also includes dual-LED flash flight, auto-HDR, panorama, and Pixel shift. It allows the video quality in 4K at 30/60 frame per second. The selfie camera is 10.8 MP 21 mm (ultrawide).

Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra is clearly built to set away from the crowd with its main camera of 200 MP f/1.7 (wide), 10 MP f/4.9 (periscope telephoto), 10 MP f/2.4 (telephoto), 12 MP f/2.2 (ultrawide) with features of LED flash, auto-HDR, and panorama. The phone promises high quality gaming experience with video quality of 8K @ 24/30 fps, 4K @ 30/60 fps, 1080p @ 30/60/240 fps, 1080p @ 960 fps. The front camera is 12 MP f/2.2 (wide) with dual video call and auto-HDR features. The video quality is 4K @ 30/60 fps, 1080p @ 30 fps.
