It started with phones with keypads and now it has touch-screen foldable smartphones. The company has released variety of products under different series names.
We thought of putting its own product up against one another so we analysed Samsung Galaxy A33 5G and Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra to know about their features.
Body
Samsung Galaxy A33 5G is a bit smaller as its dimensions are 159.7 x 74 x 8.1 mm with weight of 186 grams. It is built with glass front with frame and back of plastic. The phone supports single Nano-SIM or hybrid dual-SIM (Nano-SIM). It is dust and water resistant up to 1 meter for 30 minutes.
Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra is 163.4 x 78.1 x 8.9 mm with weight of 234 grams. It is built with glass on the front and back with frame of aluminum. The phone supports Nano-SIM and eSIM or dual SIM (2 Nano SIMs). The aluminum frame is expected to protect the phone from drop and is scratch resistance. It is also dust and water resistant up to 1.5 meters for 30 minutes.

Samsung Galaxy A33 5G has super AMOLED technology of display with refreshing speed of 90 Hz. The size is 6.4 inches with 83.7% screen-to-body ratio. The resolution is 1080 x 2400 pixels and has protection of corning gorilla glass 5.
Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra has employed dynamic AMOLED technology for display with refreshing speed of 120 Hz and brightness ranging from 1200 nits to 1750 nits. The size is bigger at 6.8 inches with 89.9% screen-to-body. The resolution is 1440 x 3088 pixels and has protection of corning gorilla glass victus 2.
Camera
Samsung Galaxy A33 5G has four main camera modules – 48 MP f/1.8 (wide), 8 MP f/2.2 (ultrawide), 5 MP f/2.4 (macro), 2 MP f/2.4 (depth) with LED flash, panorama, and HDR feature. The video quality is 4K @ 30 frames per second (fps), 1080p @ 30/60 fps. The selfie camera is 13 MP f/2.2 (wide) with video quality of 4K @ 30 fps and 1080p @ 30 fps.
Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra is clearly built to set away from the crowd with its main camera of 200 MP f/1.7 (wide), 10 MP f/4.9 (periscope telephoto), 10 MP f/2.4 (telephoto), 12 MP f/2.2 (ultrawide) with features of LED flash, auto-HDR, and panorama. The phone promises high quality gaming experience with video quality of 8K @ 24/30 fps, 4K @ 30/60 fps, 1080p @ 30/60/240 fps, 1080p @ 960 fps. The front camera is 12 MP f/2.2 (wide) with dual video call and auto-HDR features. The video quality is 4K @ 30/60 fps, 1080p @ 30 fps.
Memory
Samsung Galaxy A33 5G has internal storage of 128 GB with RAM of 4 GB, 6 GB, and 8 GB. The 8 GB RAM also comes with 256 GB internal storage. The model also allows expanding the storage as it supports micro SDXC chip but do not have a dedicated slot for the same.
Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra has internal storage of 256 GB with 8 GB and 12 GB RAM, 512 GB with 12 GB RAM, and 1 TB with 12 GB RAM. This model does not allow expanding storage space.
Battery
Samsung Galaxy A33 5G has lithium polymer battery of 5000 mAh. The non-removable battery supports wired charging of 25W.
Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra also has lithium ion battery of 5000 mAh. The non-removable battery supports wired, 15W wireless and 4.5W reverse wireless charging. It is expected to be 65% charged in 30 minutes with wired 45W charging.
Platform
Samsung Galaxy A33 5G supports Android 12 operating system, which can be upgraded to Android 13. It has chipset of Exynos 1280 and octa-core (2×2.4 GHz).
Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra has operating system of Android 13. The chipset is Qualcomm SM8550-AC Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and CPU is octa-core (1×3.36 GHz).
