It is said that iQOO Neo 8 will be first launched in China on 23rd May, 2023

The month of May will be an exciting one for all the tech nerds and those wishing to buy a smartphone. The wait is finally over as Google announced the launch of their latest phone Pixel 7a at the largest event of the entire year, known as Google I/O 2023 which was hosted on May 10th, 2023. While most of the talks and presentations at I/O are developer focused, the event briefed us about the new developments which are to be carried out by google.

It is said that iQOO Neo 8 will be first launched in China on 23rd May,2023. The date of this mega launch has been confirmed by the company as well. iQOO launched the Neo 7 smartphone in October 2022. Now the company has made up it’s mind to introduce Neo 8 as well.

Speculations about the latest Neo 8 :

The company’s latest smartphone is rumored to come with an iQOO Neo 8 flagship chipset, high resolution display and fast charging support. Keeping aside all these new features, a 5,000mAh battery will also be included in the phone with 120W fast charging support. The leak suggests that a competition might pursue with the OnePlus 11R, which is selling in India for a starting price of Rs 39,999..

To make things a bit different, Google might launch a standard as well as a premium version for the Neo 8 series. MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ chip can be found in iQOO Neo 8 Pro. However, the company is yet to reveal the name of the chip for the regular mode. The leak has rightfully claimed that the Neo 8 may come with the flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC.

Are talks about Neo 8’s launch in India true?

You might be dejected to hear that in India, the iQOO Neo 8 is not expected to arrive anytime soon as the iQOO Neo 7 model was made available in India earlier this year itself, which is significantly late as compared to other countries. It took a total of four months to come to India after it’s launch at China. We can expect the good news of it’s arrival by the lateral half of the year, 2023.
