Asus ROG Phone 6 and ROG Phone 6 Pro has just been announced in the global markets as the company’s newest gaming smartphone. The gaming phones are powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset and come with support for 165Hz refresh rate.
The Asus ROG Phone 6 comes with a 6.78-inch AMOLED display and comes with support for 165Hz screen refresh rate and HDR10+ certification. The phone also has 720Hz touch sampling rate and 23ms touch latency. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus. The device is powered by the new Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset with Adrena 730 GPU and comes with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage.

All of this is also backed by a 6000mAh battery and last year’s 65W fast wired charging.
With respect to the cameras, the device gets a 50MP Sony IMX766 primary sensor. Along with a 13MP ultrawide camera and an unspecified macro camera. For selfies and video calls, it comes with a 12MP front facing camera.
Other additional specs of the phone are: 3.5mm headphone port. As well as a NFC, a tri-microphone array, stereo speakers and 12 5G bands, IPX4 certification. With an in-display fingerprint sensor and the new AirTrigger 6 shoulder triggers with grip-press detection for the purpose of gaming.
The Asus ROG Phone 6 Pro variant will come with specifications that are similar to the ROG Phone 6. However, with some additional features. Both the models run on Android 12 out of the box with a custom skin and Asus promises two years of system updates.
Pricing: The Asus ROG Phone 6 which comes with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. Moreover, is priced at Rs 71,999 and will be available in black and white colour options.
On the other hand, the higher end Asus ROG Phone 6 Pro variant that comes with 18GB RAM. And 512GB storage is priced at Rs 89,999 and will be available in a single white colour model.
