The government of India has banned both PUBG Mobile and PUBG Mobile Lite application in the country on September 2 under section 69A of the Information Technology Act.

Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) banned PUBG along with 117more Chinese apps stating that the information that these apps are getting are being used in activities which is prejudicial to sovereignty and integrity of India, defence of India, security of the state and public order. A large chunk of PUBG players have already invested money to buy skins, Royale Pass etc. Now they are worried about how to retrieve that. The mobile PUBG network has not published any statement regarding this.
India is on its way to develop its own alternatives to PUBG Mobile. Games like FAU-G has been already developed that will not only work as an alternative to PUBG but also to let the young players know about the valor of Indian army.
Not only PUBG but also many of its alternatives namely Many popular alternatives like Knives Out-No rules, just fight!, Rules of Survival and Creative Destruction, to name a few, have also been banned by the government of India.
