TikTok alternate Trell claim 800% more screen time

The  banning of many popular Chinese apps by the Government of India has resulted to rise of many Indian brands which have taken up the void left behind these apps. One such app called Trell also raised to prominence. The company registered that they have seen huge surge in total screen time on the app.

According to the statement, after ban took place the company app has registered 800% of screen time.Trell is a lifestyle blogging platform that allows users to create 3-5 minute content videos in their narrative languages.

With 5 million new content creators from Tier 1 & Tier 2 cities the app claims to have huge spike in their user base. Since the platform has reported that with total 45 million user base the app has grown 10X. Trell is a platform where users are able to share their experiences, can give recommendations and reviews across various categories including health and fitness, beauty  and skincare, travel, movie reviews, cooking, home decor and much more.

According to the app the Northern and Eastern cities share common interest in Personal care, Fashion and Food. Whereas users in the southern hemisphere share their passion for Recipes, Gadgets, and Yoga(Health & Fitness).

Recently Trell successfully launched its platform in three different languages; Marathi, Kannada and Bengali making the total count to eight languages (Including Hindi, English, Tamil, Telugu< Malayalam) till yet.
