The offices on each of the civil station’s three levels have been arranged on a map by the software called Office Finder.
To make it easier for the public to find the offices inside the Kottayam civic station, the National Informatics Centre (NIC), Kottayam, has created a smartphone application. The offices on each of the civil station’s three levels have been arranged on a map by the software called Office Finder.
An official statement claims that the app has assigned particular colours to the various office spaces, restrooms, stairs, lift, and veranda in order to make them easier to distinguish from one another. Additionally, the ground-floor amenities including the SBI bank, ATM, and cafeteria have been listed.
The app, which is available for free download from the Play Store, opens with a list of the offices. The floor and room number are among the details that are provided when someone searches for their desired location in the search box at the top of this list. A second click on the office name will bring up a comprehensive map showing all the offices on that level as well as the precise location of the office in question.
The app’s ‘Where Am I’ feature enables the user to determine her location in relation to that workplace. To obtain the office’s phone number and email address, click on any office. The link https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=in.nic.office_finder20 allows users to download the software.
The software will be unveiled on Tuesday at a brief ceremony that will take place here, according to Cooperation Minister V.N. Vasavan.
