Apple has increased the cost of its most affordable 5G iPhone by Rs 6,000 in India

If discounts are excluded from the pricing of the iPhone 11 and iPhone 12 models, the iPhone SE 3 (2022) is the most cheap iPhone.

In the midst of the Christmas season, when numerous sales have reduced the cost of iPhones across models, Apple has raised the cost of its most cost-effective smartphone in India. If discounts are excluded from the pricing of the iPhone 11 and iPhone 12 models, the iPhone SE 3 (2022) is the most cheap iPhone. This year’s iPhone SE 3 or iPhone SE 2022 was released in early March with a price tag of Rs 43,900.

The A15 Bionic chipset was used to power the Apple iPhone SE 3 (2022). Both the non-Pro iPhone 14 series and the iPhone 13 series models have the same chipset. The smartphone sports a front-facing 7MP camera and a 12MO back camera. The smartphone’s screen measures 4.7 inches. Midnight, Starlight, and (PRODUCT) RED are the three colour options available for the IP67-certified iPhone SE 3.

The price of the iPhone Se 3 has increased by Rs 6000 to Rs 49,900, according to the Apple website. All other storage options for the iPhone SE 2022 have seen price increases from Apple as well. The price of the iPhone SE 3 128GB has increased from Rs 48,900 to Rs 54,900, and the price of the 256GB model has increased from Rs 58,900 to Rs 64,900.

But it’s unclear why Apple decided to raise the costs for the iPhone SE 3. The Indian rupee’s decline in value relative to the US dollar could be one explanation. Another explanation could be that, despite the success of the iPhone 12 and iPhone 13, the iPhone SE 3 continues to be in high demand, making it one of the most popular iPhone models in India that supports 5G. Other iPhone models in India still lack 5G compatibility.

As of October 16, Flipkart is selling the 64GB model of the iPhone SE 2022 for Rs 47,990 and the 128GB model for Rs 52,990.
