Marc Guiu, the 17-year-old Barcelona young talented player, recently achieved this feat when he scored just 23 seconds after making his debut for Barcelona.
Guiu’s journey to the top flight of Spanish football began on a cool evening at the Camp Nou when he was subbed into the game against Athletic Club in the 79th minute. The scoreline was locked at 0-0, and the tension in the stadium was rising for the Barca fans. Fans were anxious, unsure if the young striker had what it took to make an impact in such a high-pressure situation.
Yet, the doubters were quickly silenced. Guiu’s first touch in La Liga was a masterclass in it’s own as the ball went inside the net. As the ball rolled to him near the edge of the penalty area, he calmly slotted it into the back of the net. The crowd was all in cheers as they witnessed a star being born.
What makes this moment even more remarkable is that Guiu’s goal turned out to be the winning goal for Barcelona and it was a sweet victory for them over Athletic Club.
