This move comes after Van de Beek’s limited playing time at Manchester United, where he struggled to secure a consistent spot in the starting XI. The loan to Frankfurt is expected to offer the midfielder a chance for regular first-team football, aiding in his development and potentially make up his career again.
In this loan deal there is the inclusion of a buy option clause, adding a layer to the agreement. This clause gives Frankfurt the option to make the transfer permanent at the end of the loan period.
