Cricket Ireland has confirmed an exciting international calendar for 2025, featuring high-profile tours from West Indies, England, Zimbabwe Women, and Pakistan Women. Additionally, the Ireland Women’s team will be competing in the ODI World Cup qualifiers next month in Pakistan from April 4.

Men’s International Schedule

The Irish men’s team will first host West Indies for a three-match ODI series in Clontarf in late May, followed by a T20I series in June in Bready. Later in the year, England will tour Ireland for a historic bilateral T20I series in September.

Women’s Team and Wolves Fixtures

The Ireland Women’s team will play five T20Is against Zimbabwe and three against Pakistan in July-August. Meanwhile, Ireland Wolves will take on Afghanistan A in a four-day match in the UAE, followed by a one-day tri-series also involving Sri Lanka A.

Afghanistan Series Cancelled

Despite a packed schedule, Cricket Ireland has announced that the planned multi-format series against Afghanistan will not go ahead due to financial reasons. While international pressure mounts on the ICC regarding Afghanistan, Cricket Ireland has clarified that their decision is solely based on budgetary constraints.

“As we say: it’s summer, it must be cricket. And this summer, Irish fans will be able to enjoy some of the world’s best cricketers playing on these shores,” said Warren Deutrom, Chief Executive of Cricket Ireland.
