Former New Zealand cricket captain, Daniel Vettori, has been chosen as the new head coach of Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), replacing Brian Lara from the previous season.
Vettori’s appointment follows SRH’s disappointing performance in 2023, finishing last in the league with only four wins in 14 matches. Vettori, who will be the fourth head coach for SRH, brings a wealth of cricketing experience to the role. It remains to be seen whether other members of the support staff, including Muttiah Muralitharan, will continue in their positions.
