The International Cricket Council (ICC) has revealed the schedule for the ODI World Cup 2023, generating excitement among cricket fans. The tournament will commence on October 5 at Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium, with the highly anticipated India vs Pakistan match scheduled for October 15.

In a recent statement, legendary Sri Lankan spinner Muttiah Muralitharan predicted that spinners will play a dominant role in the upcoming Cricket World Cup. With his vast experience and knowledge of the game, Muralitharan highlighted three spinners who he believes will excel in the tournament.

Muralitharan’s first pick for the highest wicket-taker is Adil Rashid from England. Rashid has been a key figure in England’s limited-overs setup, known for his variations and ability to take wickets in crucial moments. His presence in the English squad adds depth to their spin bowling attack.

The second spinner on Muralitharan’s list is Rashid Khan from Afghanistan. Khan has been a sensation in international cricket, impressing with his control and guile.

Muralitharan also mentioned the name of Ravindra Jadeja from India. If Jadeja participates in all the matches, Muralitharan believes he will be a top contender for the highest wicket-taker title.
