England have named their playing 11 for the second Test against Sri Lanka tomorrow. They have made a solitary change in their playing 11. James Anderson replaces Stuart Broad who has been rested for the last Test.

Playing 11: Dominic Sibley, Zak Crawley, Jonathan Bairstow, Joe Root (captain), Dan Lawrence, Jos Buttler (wicketkeeper), Sam Curran, Dominic Bess, Jack Leach, Mark Wood, James Anderson

England won the first Test by seven wickets after being tricked by Sri Lankan bowlers. They lost the three wickets early while chasing 74. While only a draw can get them the series win over SL. But keeping in mind their position in the ICC Test Championship, Joe Root would long to win the match. They are currently in the fourth spot behind India, New Zealand and Australia.

England will play India in India after the series in Sri Lanka.
