Indian cricketer Rishabh Pant is leaving no stone unturned in his quest to regain full fitness as quickly as possible. The talented left-handed batter, who survived a horrific car accident last year, recently shared a video on social media showcasing his progress. Currently undergoing rehabilitation at the National Cricket Academy, Pant is determined to make a strong comeback.
In the video, Pant can be seen engaging in a challenging workout routine. Accompanying the post, he wrote, “Not bad yaar Rishabh. Simple things can be difficult sometimes.” Pant’s dedication and perseverance have not gone unnoticed, with fellow cricketer Harleen Deol congratulating him on his recovery. She even playfully encouraged him to have his bhangra performance ready, displaying the camaraderie and support among players.
Pant’s absence was sorely felt by the Indian team during the recently concluded World Test Championship (WTC) final against New Zealand at Lord’s. India faced a disappointing defeat by 209 runs, highlighting the significance of Pant’s dynamic presence in the batting lineup. It was a stark contrast to the inaugural WTC final against Australia, where Pant played a pivotal role in India’s victory.
