Indian skipper Rohit Sharma has answered well to the questions regarding Virat Kohli’s form in the current T20 World Cup 2024. Indian cricket team won the semifinals game against England by a huge margin (68 runs) and have booked their place in the finals.
After this game, the Indian skipper was asked about Virat Kohli who is not in good touch in this tournament. “Probably, he is saving it for the finals,” said Rohit Sharma in the post-match interview as telecasted on Star Sports Network and Disney Hotstar.
Virat Kohli again got out early in the semifinals against England. It added to the string of his low scores. He has only managed to score 30+ run only once in this tournament. However, the game showed an immense composure of talent and passion from the Indian cricket team who despite the poor weather played exquisitely well and knock England team out. It was a proper revenge on the English side who won it the last time in the tournament when these two teams met in the semifinals.
England cricket team could only score 103 in their chase of 172 runs against India and it was a exceptional performance from the Indian spinners namely Axar Patel and Kuladeep Yadav who took 3-3 wickets to register their place in the finals.
The final game will be now played between India and South Africa on Saturday i.e. June 29 at 8:00 PM (IST).
