The Pakistan Cricket Board announced the schedule for England’s Test tour of Pakistan in December of this year. The three-match series, which counts toward the World Test Championship, will be played at Rawalpindi, Multan, and Karachi.
The three Tests will mark the second phase of England’s tour and will mark the first Test series played in Pakistan in 17 years. From September 20 to October 2, seven T20Is that make up the first leg will be contested in Karachi and Lahore.
England’s Test tour of Pakistan schedule:
9-13 December – 2nd Test, Multan
17-21 December – 3rd Test, Karachi
The last time England toured Pakistan was in November-December 2005 when the hosts handed the visitors a 2-0 loss. England’s last Test win in Pakistan came in 2000 when the Nasser Hussain-led team won the third Test in Multan to take the series 1-0.
