In January 2023, Sri Lanka will host a series in which India will compete against them. The next ODI series will be played against the dominant Kiwis because team New Zealand will tour India in January 2023, which will be followed by the Sri Lanka series.
Kane Williamson, the team’s regular captain, and head coach Gary Stead won’t be touring India in the early part of next year, according to New Zealand Cricket, which has confirmed this in order to manage the workload of the players and support staff.
Although he recently resigned as Test captain, Kane Williamson will captain his team in the ODI series against Pakistan but won’t be going to India in the initial months of 2023.
It is understood that team management and head coach Gary Stead will work to control the amount of work that the players and support staff have to do for the year 2023, as the fans will witness the iconic ICC World Cup to take place in 2023.
