Chennai Super Kings and Kolkata Knight Riders will play their first match on March 26 with all the ten franchises preparing for the start of the IPL 2022 tournament. The next day, the Royal Challengers Bangalore team, led by Faf du Plessis, will face Mayank Agarwal-led Punjab Kings.

RCB has already reached Mumbai and is working on rigorous practice. Former captain Virat Kohli joined the RCB camp on Sunday.

Meanwhile, the Bangalore team has seen a tremendous lead. RCB has quietly included a young player from Afghanistan in their team. Afghanistan’s young leg-spinner Izharulhaq Naveed has been selected as the net bowler for RCB IPL 2022, who has never played a single international match.

18-year-old Naveed shared the status on his Instagram account and shone in the R CB jersey. He was part of the Afghanistan squad for the ICC Under-19 World Cup earlier this year.

He made a big promise in the Under-19 World Cup. He has taken 4 wickets in 6 matches. In addition, only 3.63 economy.

He is currently picked by RCB as their net bowler and will bowl to iconic batsmen like Virat Kohli, Glenn Maxwell and Faf du Plessis. Izharulhaq Naveed will be auctioned in the next edition if he shows his spin on the net.

Afghanistan is famous for the team’s most notorious singers. Dangerous spinners like Rashid Khan and Mujeeb ur Rahman were already born in Afghanistan. Now Izharulhaq Naveed can be added in this line. This is the reason why RCB has included this spinner in its team as a net bowler.
