Indian cricketer Rohit Sharma has leased out his apartment in Lower Parel, Mumbai, for ₹2.60 lakh per month, according to property registration documents reviewed by Square Yards on the Inspector General of Registration (IGR) Maharashtra website. The rental agreement was registered in January 2025.
The apartment is located in Lodha Marquise – The Park, a luxury residential project by Macrotech Developers Limited (Lodha Group), spread across seven acres. The 1,298 sq. ft. unit includes two car parking spaces. The lease transaction incurred a stamp duty of ₹16,300 and registration charges of ₹1,000.
As per Square Yards’ analysis of IGR property registration records, Rohit Sharma and his father, Gurunath Sharma, purchased this apartment in March 2013 for ₹5.46 crore. The rental yield for the property stands at 6%.
The records also reveal that Rohit Sharma and his father own another apartment in the same Lodha Marquise project, which was bought in 2013 for ₹5.70 crore. This second property was rented out in October 2024 for ₹2.65 lakh per month.
Known as the “Hitman” of Indian cricket, Rohit Sharma holds the highest individual ODI score of 264 and remains the only player to have three double centuries in ODIs. As a captain, he has led the Mumbai Indians to multiple IPL titles and played a key role in India’s 2013 ICC Champions Trophy and 2018 Asia Cup victories. Honoured with the Arjuna Award (2015) and Khel Ratna (2020), Rohit Sharma continues to be a pivotal figure in Indian cricket with his batting prowess and strategic leadership.
