India’s Women’s ODI squad for the upcoming series against Australia reveals the inclusion of four uncapped players. Shreyanka Patil, Titas Sadhu, and Saika Ishaque, who recently made their T20I debut, are all set to make their mark in the ODI format. The 20-year-old uncapped player, Mannat Kashya, has also earned a spot in the 50-over squad while retaining her position in the T20Is.
Notable comebacks include Richa Ghosh and Renuka Thakur, who missed the recent ODI assignment against Bangladesh. The selectors have omitted several players from the squad that played in July, including Priya Punia, Devika Vaidya, Meghna Singh, Monica Patel, Uma Chetry, Anjali Sarvani, Rashi Kanojiya, and Bareddy Anusha.
Despite India’s recent T20I series loss to England, no changes have been made to the T20I squad. The team, buoyed by victories against England and Australia in one-off Tests, maintains its core group.
