England’s tour of India: Virat Kohli arrived in Chennai on Wednesday night for upcoming India vs England Test Series. After reaching as per necessary protocols the Indian skipper underwent Covid-19 tests.
The players of the two teams will be staying at Hotel Leela Palace in a bio-bubble as part of quarantine protocols and will undergo testing for COVID-19, the TNCA official said.
England’s decorated all-rounder Ben Stokes and Jofra Archer had arrived earlier on Sunday, and both are in quarantine. Rohit Sharma, Ajinkya Rahane had arrived on Tuesday while Cheteshwar Pujara, Jasprit Bumrah and Rishabh Pant reached on Wednesday morning.
The first Test match is scheduled to be played at M A Chidambaram stadium from February 5.
