Former skipper of Indian team Virat Kohli will soon be joining the elite list which includes names like Sachin, Dhoni, and a few others, having played the 2nd ODI against team West Indies in Ahmedabad at the Narendra Modi Stadium on Wednesday, February 9.

The fans will witness Virat Kohli’s legacy of completing 100 ODI matches at home ( in India) on Wednesday. The century games at home are an unbelievable record and have been remarkable for Virat’s career as one of the best players has scored 19 centuries and 25 half-centuries in 99 matches (96 innings) in India. Having scored 5002 runs with an average of 60 and a strike rate of 96.68, Virat has been one of the most successful batsmen at home. Virat Kohli recently became the fastest batsman to score 5000 ODI runs at home, having played the historic 1st ODI against West Indies at the same venue which was India’s 1000th ODI game.

The 2nd ODI will be scripting yet another record for the iconic batsman and ex-captain of team India Virat Kohli as he will be stepping out to play the 100th game tomorrow which will also be his 259th appearance in the One Day International format. Virat will be joining the iconic players like Sachin Tendulkar (164 matches), MS Dhoni (127 matches), Azharuddin (113), and Yuvraj (108 matches) in the elite list after playing the 100th game at home.

The ODI series against team West Indies is at 1-0 with India dominating the series as both the teams will be playing a critical game tomorrow which can be the series decider if India clinches another win.
