Frustration is boiling over among cricket fans as tickets for the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025 final — scheduled for November 2 at D.Y. Patil Stadium, Navi Mumbai — are still not live, despite less than 24 hours remaining for the historic clash. India take on South Africa in what will be a first-ever Women’s ODI World Cup title for either side, yet fans remain stuck refreshing BookMyShow with no clarity on bookings.
The ticket page continues to show “Coming Soon”, leaving thousands of supporters baffled. The delay has created chaos for travelling fans, many of whom have already made plans and booked accommodation.
On social media, outrage has erupted, with users calling out the organisers for poor planning and alleging mismanagement.
Several posts went viral, with fans calling the situation “foolishness”, “corrupted BCCI”, and claiming “BCCI is way behind England and Australia when it comes to fan experience”.
Even though there are only a few hours left for the women's final, the tickets for the final match are not yet available on book my show. BCCI is really far behind England and Australia in these things.#WomensWorldCup2025_Final#INDvSA

Some users questioned whether tickets had already been pre-allocated offline, while others demanded accountability from both the BCCI and ICC.
Earlier this morning, BookMyShow responded to one fan saying,
“Stay tuned to our socials… details will reflect in real-time once bookings go live.”
However, no timeline has been communicated so far.
The semifinal in Navi Mumbai saw over 34,600 fans roar India to a sensational chase against Australia. With interest for the final even higher, the delay is denting the excitement for what could be the biggest day in women’s cricket history.
For now, supporters continue to wait — hitting refresh, expressing anger online, and hoping the gates to the stadium don’t remain closed due to administrative lapses on the biggest night of the sport.
(We will update once tickets officially go live.)
