In a recent video shared by BCCI from its official Twitter handle, the Indian team looks geared up to welcome the visitor South African team. This series is being considered to strengthen the bench strength of the Indian team, as per the sources. The return of Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma would ensure that they bat top of the order while letting the likes of Rishabh Pant, Dinesh Karthik, and Suryakumar Yadav hold the lower middle order. It will be interesting to observe how India uses the likes of Arshdeep Singh, Umran Malik, and Avesh Khan.

According to the sources from BCCI, the Indian team will look to make major experiments to ensure a strong squad to make it to the Australia for the upcoming world cup in 2022. Dinesh Karthik will be handed over his position considering his role to finish matches while Hardik Pandya will look to bat top of the order. But Hardik Pandya and Yuzvendra Chahal, both are being seen missing from the BCCI’s released video. No official confirmation have been made regarding their unavailability.
