Honda has unveiled the updated version of its immensely popular Unicorn 150cc commuter motorcycle, featuring OBD-2 compliance and an enticing new warranty program. The refreshed model comes with a price tag of Rs 1,09,800 (ex-showroom, Delhi), marking a moderate increase from its previous price of Rs 1,05,718 (ex-showroom, Delhi).

The cosmetic appearance of the bike remains unchanged from its earlier iteration. However, Honda has introduced OBD-2 compliance, ensuring the motorcycle meets the latest emissions standards. Additionally, the company has launched a special warranty program for the Unicorn. It now comes with a standard 3-year warranty, with an option to extend it by an additional 7 years. This means customers can enjoy up to 10 years of warranty coverage for their new Unicorn.

The Unicorn retains its reliable air-cooled, 162.7cc, single-cylinder engine, generating 12.9hp at 7,500rpm and 14Nm at 5,500rpm. Paired with a 5-speed gearbox, it offers smooth and efficient performance for daily commuting. With a seat height of 715mm and a fully-filled 13-litre fuel tank, the Unicorn weighs 140kg. While it features a single-channel ABS setup, it still retains a drum brake at the rear.

In recent times, Honda has been diligently updating its entire range of two-wheelers to meet the latest emissions standards. The SP125, Activa 125, and Dio are among the models that have undergone updates to ensure compliance with the new regulations.
