The 10th match of the Global Super League 2025 between Central Districts and Rangpur Riders at Providence Stadium, Guyana, faced an early delay due to a wet outfield following heavy rain. However, as per the latest update, the match is now set to begin shortly, with both sides playing 17 overs each.
Earlier, Rangpur Riders won the toss and elected to bat first. The playing XI for Rangpur includes Ibrahim Zadran, Soumya Sarkar, Yasir Ali, Mahidul Islam Ankon, Iftikhar Ahmed, Nurul Hasan (captain & wicketkeeper), Saif Hassan, Kamrul Islam, Rakibul Hasan, Harmeet Singh, and Khaled Ahmed.
Central Districts will take the field with Will Young, Dane Cleaver (wicketkeeper), Dean Foxcroft, Tom Bruce (captain), Curtis Heaphy, Josh Clarkson, Matthew Forde, Jayden Lennox, Angus Schaw, Toby Findlay, and Blair Tickner.
The revised start time was delayed until 09:30 local time (13:30 GMT, 19:00 IST), with the toss also delayed. With weather conditions improving, both teams will now look to make the most of the shortened format in this exciting Group Stage clash.
