According to information shared by ESPN, the players from both the teams have cleared the COVID-19 testing process and they will resume their training from tomorrow. Three days back all the players had cleared the first test for COVID-19 and two more were due.

India will take on England in the four-match Test series starting from Friday, February 5. The first two Tests will be at the Chepauk and the last two Tests will be at the Motera Stadium in Ahmedabad.

“All PCR tests from yesterday’s test have returned negative results. The England party are now out of quarantine and will train for the first time as a full group at the stadium tomorrow afternoon 2pm-5 pm (IST),” the England and Wales Cricket Board spokesperson told.

Both the teams are staying at the Leela Palace in Chennai. According to the government guidelines, the players had to undergo three COVID-19 tests before their training sessions starting from February 2.
