Team India captain Rohit Sharma has officially announced his retirement from Test cricket, bringing an end to a decorated career in the longest format. Rohit shared the news through his Instagram story on Wednesday, writing, “It’s been an absolute honour to represent my country in whites. Thank you for all the love and support over the years. I will continue to represent India in the ODI format.”
Rohit, who wore cap number 280, made his Test debut in 2013 and went on to become a mainstay in the Indian batting lineup, especially as an opener in recent years.
