Australia vs India: After having a fabulous day with a bat on Day 3, Shardul Thakur started his bowling spell with some intent. Thakur got the first wicket for India, as Marcus Harris edged the ball in the hands of Rishabh Pant. the duo of Washington Sundar and Thakur stitched a record partnership of 123 runs to rescue India innings. Sundar got better of David Warner on a score of 48.
Mohammed Siraj pocketed three wickets including the wickets of Marnus Labuschagne, Steve Smith and Matthew Wade. After five wickets the Aussies were having a building a partnership between Tim Paine and Cameron Green. The Indian skipper brought Thakur into the attack and he delivered by dismissing Green.
