The fans in India were devastated after their team was left out of the tournament. The song’s resonance highlighted the impact of Bravo on the Indian cricketing establishment and its fans. As Dwayne Bravo turns 37 and approaches near the end of his illustrious career, here’s a brief peek into the all-rounder’s stellar contributions.

Bravo is often regarded as a T20 player, but he started as a quality all-around performer. He made his debut for West Indies as a twenty-year-old in 2004 and carved a reputation for himself as a capable allrounder. In 2005, he bowled West Indies to a memorable 1-run victory over India dismissing Yuvraj Singh in the final over. He played his last Test match in 2010 and was never picked thereafter. But, this led ro interestingly offer him a new lease of life. Since the inception of the Indian Premier League, many international cricketers have been transformed by its format and their careers for many players like Shane Watson, Glenn Maxwell, and also Bravo. Under the leadership of MS Dhoni, he succeeded far beyond imagination and his wicket-taking abilities established him as a winner.  He was the Purple Cap holder in two seasons- 2013 and 2015 and his 32 wickets in a single IPL season (2013) is yet to be surpassed.
