In the latest MRF Tyres ICC Men’s Player Rankings, England’s Adil Rashid confirmed his spot as the T20I bowlers, adding to the dynamic changes across the rankings. Adil Rashid’s consistent and commendable performances in the Caribbean have propelled him two places upward. This has helped the England spinner surpass Afghanistan’s Rashid Khan (second) and India’s Ravi Bishnoi (third) in the T20I rankings for bowlers.

Adil Rashid’s achievement has made him only the second player from England to hold the No. 1 ranking as a T20I bowler. It was veteran spinner Graeme Swann who was at this spot, which was more than a decade ago, which makes it special for the current spinner.

Interestingly, the premier position on the list for T20I bowlers has seen a dynamic exchange over the past three weeks. Joining Rashid in the spotlight are West Indies spinner Akeal Hosein, climbing three spots to sixth, and South Africa’s Tabraiz Shamsi, making an impressive leap of three places to ninth. This lively movement within the top 10 adds an extra layer of excitement to the rankings, showcasing the competitive nature of T20I cricket as teams gear up for the upcoming World Cup.
