2nd Test, Day 2: India reaches (61/1); fancy batting in the session 1 by Rohit & Vihari

India lost Mayank Agarwal early in the Session 1 but Hanuma Vihari and Rohit Sharma have ensured a wicketless partnership since then.

Mayank Agarwal scored 22 runs before falling to Embuldeniya. Since then, Rohit Sharma and Hanuma Vihari have unsettled the Sri Lankan lineup, which is already caving under pressure after trailing by a huge margin on a pitch that is vacating the batting line up against mighty Indian bowling attack comprising of Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammad Shami, Ravichandran Ashwin, Ravindra Jadeja, and Axar Patel. Sri Lanka is short of a bowler in the form of Jayawickrama who got injured while fielding. Session 1 belonged to India as the team fancied their chances while bowling and batting.
